In a very thought provoking segment on KOGO radio this week, interventionist and CEO of Confidential Recovery Scott H. Silverman participated in an on air segments on KOGO radio to discuss the unhoused crisis in San Diego.
Among the topics covered were the proposed mega shelter, and the types of logistics that need to be considered when helping such a wide swath of people who are facing such a variety of problems. Some unhoused families can probably get back on their feet and reenter the workforce with some assistance, while others, sadly, may need support for the rest of their lives.
It is a dire problem, but one that Scott is familiar with, as he has been working with homeless population in San Diego for decades.
